Student Leadership

Head Students

Every year the students and staff at Christ the King vote for the Head Students for that academic year. This is usually two students chosen from Year 13. These coveted roles are very well respected throughout the school and come with a lot of responsibilities.

Head Students are expected to represent the school at events such as Open Evenings and celebrations of cuccess evenings, they will lead Acts of Worship for lower school students and chair the meetings of the Sixth Form Student Council.

Student Council

Sixth Form Student Council membership is another opportunity for our students to gain leadership skills. This is made up of two elected representatives from each Tutor Group who meet regularly to discuss Sixth Form and wider school issues. In particular, our Student Council organise and run our many charity events such as Children in Need and Remembrance Day activities.
