Celebrating the Success of Our Students 2025

We are delighted to share with you the excellent examination results achieved by our students this summer. These results are a testament to the hard work of our young people, the dedication of our staff, and the unfailing support of our families and parish communities.

At GCSE, our 155 students achieved strongly across the board:

  • 23.2% of them achieved 5 or more grades at Level 7+ (equivalent to A/A*).
  • 82% achieved grade 4 or above in English
  • 83% achieved grade 4 or above in Maths
  • 75% achieved grade 4 or above in Religious Education.
  • 74% achieved at least 5 grades 4 or above including English and Maths
  • Our Attainment 8 score was 4.9

We look forward to many of them returning to our 6th Form in September.

Enrolment takes place at 8.45 on Thursday 4th September 2025.

At A Level, our 31 Sixth Form students achieved good outcomes, enabling them to move on to a wide range of university courses, apprenticeships, and employment opportunities. The average grade was a C and the Value Added score is 0, which means that our students achieved as expected, based on their results at the end of Key Stage 4.

These outcomes reflect not only academic success but also the resilience, perseverance, and commitment of our students – qualities rooted in our CARES virtues and in our mission to place Christ at the centre of all we do.

We give thanks for the many gifts our young people bring to our community and for the hope they represent for the future. As Pope Francis reminds us, “Education is an act of hope,” and we see this hope fulfilled in the achievements of our students.

Please continue to keep our students in your prayers as many now take their next steps in education, training, or employment. May they carry forward all they have learned at Christ the King and continue to grow into young adults who use their talents in service of others.
