In mathematics our intent is:

To develop curiosity, enjoyment and challenge through mastery of the curriculum and application of knowledge via problem solving and reasoning, ensuring that students leave our school with the ability to use effective Mathematics on a daily basis.

Maths is a key subject which is vital for all careers that you may wish to follow. We have a number of students who move onto University to study Maths and it continues to be a popular subject in Sixth Form.
