Curriculum Intent
Our music curriculum aims to ignite and sustain a lifelong love for music through a rich and diverse musical journey. Rooted in Catholic values, faith is at the heart of all we do, guiding students to develop their character alongside their musical skills.
Through a broad and balanced curriculum, pupils will engage in performing, composing, listening, and appraising, fostering ambition and resilience in a challenging yet supportive environment.
We celebrate diversity, drawing inspiration from a wide range of musical traditions and our local context, ensuring that music is both meaningful and inclusive.
By nurturing creativity and self-expression, we empower students to use music as a positive influence on society, enriching their lives and the lives of others.
