Q&A With Ben…
What will be your first action as Head Student?
My first action as Head Student will be to meet with the Sixth Formers and gather their ideas in the new Sixth Form council. I want the issues I lead into cause an impact across the wider school community. This will help set a collaborative tone for my leadership.
What are you looking forward to the most about being Head Student?
I’m most excited about creating positive changes that increase the likelihood for the students following when I leave the school. Building strong connections with both Sixth Formers and staff is a priority for me.
What’s been your most rewarding experience at CTK so far?
My most rewarding experience at CTK has running charity events last year. It helped me to develop my leadership role, and shows that sixth formers can have a bit of a laugh, along side academics
What do you plan on doing once you leave Sixth Form?
After Sixth Form, I plan go into in civil engineering at Cardiff University. A-Level geography is a strong suit for me and with civil engineering, you can protect the world in a meaningful way
