As a Catholic Sixth Form, we acknowledge the unique creation of every person and endeavour to meet the individual educational needs of all pupils. All reasonable adjustments to provision are made to ensure that students with additional support needs are not disadvantaged.
Our SEN team offer support to students with a wide range of needs. Students with additional needs have termly meetings with their form tutor to review and ensure that they are accessing the curriculum. Parents are also invited to be part of these supportive meetings. Students with additional needs are also offered a weekly drop-in session with our inclusion team to discuss strategies to support with the demands of A Levels.
Our skilled teachers implement provision within the classroom to ensure that all students who meet our entry requirements are supported fully to access the academic curriculum. Through our transition programme, tutor programme and mentoring meetings, our tutors support the individual needs of each of our students to achieve their potential.
If you have any questions about the support that we offer to students with SEN, please contact Mr Reddington, Head of Sixth Form.
